Two constraints decide it and cannot be worked around: the mass at the wrist — part, gripper or torch, and cabling — and the furthest point the tool must reach at full extension. Everything else follows from those.
Send us the part weight, the largest dimension of the working area and the cycle you need, and we will name the model that fits. If a robot is not the right answer for that job, we will say so.

They are the two figures buyers compare first. In CRP-RA15-12 the 15 is reach in decimetres — 1510 mm — and the 12 is rated payload in kilograms.
So RH14-10-W is a 1.4 m, 10 kg welding arm and RA28-360 is a 2.8 m, 360 kg handling arm. It makes shortlisting quicker once you know the two numbers you need.

Because it is one supplier and one controller family, most cells on a shop floor can be built from the same catalogue and programmed the same way.

A single robot is a normal order. Many customers start with one machine on one operation and add to it once the cycle is proven.
